Directions Panel Field

Introduction

The Directions Panel Field in WPForms Geolocation displays step-by-step driving directions or navigation details generated by the Directions Field. This display-only field enhances form usability with a clear and organized route view.

The Directions Panel Field is simple to set up and requires no additional geolocation settings. You can add it to your form and link it to the Directions Field via its Directions Panel Field option in the settings.

• Displays calculated driving directions, including detailed route steps and navigation details.
• Links to the Directions Field to dynamically update as route calculations change.

Setting Up and Using the Directions Panel Field

Follow these steps to effectively configure and use the Directions Panel Field:

1. Add a Directions Field: Insert the Directions Field into your form. This field calculates the routes to be displayed.
2. Add the Directions Panel Field: Drag and drop the Directions Panel Field into the form using the WPForms builder.
3. Link it to the Directions Field: In the Directions Field settings, assign the Directions Panel Field under the Directions Panel Field option.
4. Test the Form: Preview the form and input starting and destination points in the Directions Field. Ensure that the Directions Panel Field accurately displays the calculated routes and steps.
