Introduction

The WPForms Geolocation plugin brings advanced geolocation features to your forms, enabling seamless address, map, and location-based inputs.
Once installed and activated, it adds geolocation-specific fields to the WPForms editor, which you can place anywhere in your form.

WPForms Geolocation Fields

WPForms Geolocation provides a variety of fields, each tailored to a specific geolocation functionality:

• Geocoder: This hidden field is essential for syncing and processing geolocation data, ensuring smooth communication between other geolocation fields.
• Address: Allows users to input addresses, which are geocoded and synced with other geolocation fields for seamless interaction.
• Coordinates: Enables users to enter latitude and longitude values that can be reverse-geocoded or synchronized with other fields.
• Google Map: Displays an interactive map where users can select or drag a marker to set their location.
• Locator Button: Allows users to detect their current location via browser geolocation or IP-based services.
• Directions: Calculates driving directions or straight-line distances between two locations.
• Directions Panel: Displays detailed driving directions when paired with the Directions Field.
• Reset Location: Clears data from geolocation fields and resets them to their default state.

Synchronizing Geolocation Fields

To ensure smooth communication between Geolocation fields, you must sync them using a Geocoder Field. Syncing ensures effective interaction between fields. For example:

• When a user enters an address in the Address Field, the map marker moves to the corresponding location on the map.
• Dragging the map marker to a new location updates the Address Field with the corresponding address.
